This campaign celebrates the LGBTQIA+ community with a theme that emphasizes inclusivity, love, and good food. The campaign highlights packaging that features a vibrant rainbow theme integrated with Popeyes’ iconic colors to create a vision of unity. Limited-edition rainbow pins are given to donors that support LGBTQIA+ charities, with proceeds going to organizations focused on equality and support. With this campaign, Popeyes aims to foster an environment of pride, creating a place where everyone can feel accepted.
The artistic approach to this campaign began with incorporating the brand's signature color palette and the bright elements of the Pride flag. Playful illustrations and patterns featuring iconic Southern symbols were recreated to represent both pride and the welcoming spirit of the South. The bold use of typography in this project is meant to call attention towards the actions of Popeye’s competitors while still promoting inclusion.
