This short comic book is a testament to the hardships and struggle for rights in regards to the LGBTQ+ movement. Based on the life of Marsha P. Johnson, this project illustrates her advocacy and legacy which led to many of societal changes that we benefit from today.
The artwork for this project consisted of digital illustrations using procreate. The illustration style was inspired by graphic novels using heavy vector shadows. The colors chosen for this comic book were intended to represent the trans community as it was the base for the storyline.
