This campaign focuses on a compilation album that pays homage to the legendary artists of the "27 Club". (musicians whose lives were cut short at the age of 27)  The album features iconic tracks from artists like Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, Kurt Cobain, and Amy Winehouse while capturing the essence of their short but impactful careers. Forever Young serves as both a celebration and remembrance, bringing together timeless songs that continue to resonate with generations, embodying the spirit of creative freedom and intensity that defined these artists. In collaboration with Faces and Voices of Recovery, the album also serves as a reminder of the effects of addiction.
The design for Club 27: Forever Young embraces a nostalgic yet haunting tribute to the iconic artists of the 27 Club. The album cover features a moody, monochrome palette with splashes of vibrant, psychedelic colors, symbolizing both the intensity and beauty of their brief yet impactful lives. Portraits of the artists were illustrated against a backdrop consisting of the newspaper clippings surrounding their deaths. Other graphic elements echo hand-drawn art influenced by the style of Jean-Michel Basquiat. The inner sleeves display the song lyrics in an obituary-style layout.
