This campaign presents a series of fashion ads inspired by Edgar Allan Poe’s short story, “The Cask of Amontillado.” Merging the dark and atmospheric themes of the tale with Balenciaga’s leather jackets and cologne allowed for the campaign to exhibit a unique visual narrative that captures the essence of both mystery and high fashion.
After brainstorming some concept ideas, I organized a photoshoot featuring two models, carefully chosen clothing and various props against a backdrop that reflected the storyline's essence. Once I was satisfied with the photos, I edited them in Photoshop to further enhance details, colorization and adding the logo.
